H Ακαδημία Θεολογικών Σπουδών Βόλου διοργανώνει στην Αθήνα την πρώτη στρoγγυλή τράπεζα της σειράς Η Ορθοδοξία και οι “άλλοι” στην Ελλάδα του 2040. Η στρογγυλή αυτή τράπεζα θα εξετάσει τον ρόλο της θρησκείας γενικότερα και της Ορθοδοξίας ειδικότερα έναντι του «άλλου», με επίκεντρο την Ελλάδα κατά την επόμενη 20ετία, με την πρόθεση η συζήτηση αυτή να συμβάλει σ’ ένα βιώσιμο μοντέλο συνύπαρξης θρησκειών και πολιτισμών και τελικά σ’ ένα βιώσιμο κόσμο, ξεκινώντας από την περιοχή μας, δηλαδή τον ευρύτερο γεωγραφικό χώρο των Βαλκανίων και της Μεσογείου όπως αυτός δυνάμει θα διαμορφωθεί έως το 2040.

Volos Academy for Theological Studies organizes the first of the four round tables Greek Orthodoxy and the “other” in Greece in 2040 in the framework of the National Committee “Greece 2021”, examining the role of religion as a whole, and more particularly of Orthodoxy, in our relationship with the “other”, focusing in Greece in the period of the next twenty years. This way it anticipates to contribute to a sustainable model of mutual understanding and coexistence of religions and cultures and, ultimately, to a sustainable world, starting from the broader geographical area of the Balkans and the Mediterranean, and its possible permutations by 2040.
